Glungezer in Austria (in the Tirol region) is a medium sized ski resort with 7 ski lifts (2 chair lifts, 5 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1355 metres (4445 feet) of vertical descent. Glungezer has 23 kilometers (14 miles) of pistes. Glungezer is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders with some terrain for beginners but little of interest for advanced skiers. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Glungezer. The nearest airport is at Innsbruck.

The Glungezer resort in the Tyrolean Hall-Wattens region hall-wattens.at is a nice, familiar ski area. The Glungezer is home to the longest downhill run in Tyrol – more than 15 km in length!
A place where everyone, big and small, discovers total enjoyment, both in their skiing and in the natural setting. Rustic alpine huts and a cosy restaurant invite you to step inside and “take the weight off” for a while.
