Great bar and food. Wines to die for and prices are more than fair. Brett the bar manager and his staff are second to none. Very profesional.

The highlight of our Niseko dining was here at The Barn on Momiji - Zaka St in the lower village. As you’d expect from the name, the restaurant is shaped like a barn. It’s a gorgeous building and the huge glass frontage makes The Barn the perfect place to sit and watch the snow fall (or dump!). The Barn has chic décor and beautiful ambience, and the mezzanine level in particular is rather special. Dinner is a set menu of three courses with a few gourmet options for each course. The menu is French inspired with mouth watering dishes such as beef cheeks and duck confit, and the desserts are to die for. The wine list is impressive and includes wines from the owner’s vineyards in Burgundy France as well as other international wines. The service was nonstop,We were waited on hand and foot. Considering that this is such a delightful dining experience, the prices are very reasonable Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Totally disappointed with The Barn. The worst i can expect from a restaurant. From ordering, serving to charging. Everything went wrong. Set menu for adults with few options that I can accept. There is only 'a' choice for kids menu which is beef hamberger. So happen my son allergic to beef. So I ask if there is any other option. The manager said ' oh, I feel sorry for your son but sorry there is only a choice. Ok, out of no choice, I order vegetarian but they need to charge more than double of kids menu. The service is worst I can ever expect. We then ordered a bottle of wine and they gave us house wine by glass! Again, the waiter said sorry but there is nothing they can do! Although there is only one menu, the food came wrong. And as expected, dessert went wrong as well. The quality of the food is not as great. It's way over-rated. I hated when I have to tell the manager again and again things went wrong and their answer was always 'Sorry' but there is nothing they can do. Don't recommend anyone to go there.
